Our well-trained and experienced staff, led by respected endodontic specialist Dr. Joseph Chu are committed to practicing the specialty of Endodontics at the highest level. As members of the American Association of Endodontists, the focus of treatment is to balance state of the art technology with scientific and clinically proven treatment in order to provide a comfortable and predictable result for you.

Dr. Chu was the President of the Honolulu County Dental Society for 2013, President of the Kauai County Dental Society for 2015 and member of the American Association of Endodontists. He is a volunteer advisor for the University of Hawaii Pre-Dental Club, as well as teaches at the Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Center and Waimanalo Health Center. Dr. Chu has completed medical missions to the Philippines, Nepal and Burma.

Tyra attended Colorado Mesa University and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree of applied science in Radiologic Technology. She has done training in various hospitals throughout Colorado, including a rotation in Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologist. It was her goal to move home to Kauai where she can give back to the community. She is committed to providing you with a comfortable and pain-free experience while getting your scan.
